The wordless discourse of "Chameleon" is accompanied by a "Lexical Symphony" composed of six video portraits resembling political campaign posters. The "actor-candidates" work on the plasticity of their voices, interpreting a word of their choice from elements of political language: security, value, minority, pollution, project, reform. The lexical, obsessive repetition pushes the actors' bodies to exhaustion, draining the words of meaning. Their voices start with powerful force, ultimately reaching a state of "fatigue" and weariness.
